Commlink Info Tech Ltd. being a technology leader in data networking solutions is proud to be the first mover in mobile WiMAX (IEEE 802.16e-2005) technology in Bangladesh. WiMAX is an innovative technology that creates the necessary environment for high quality, multi-megabit services to be delivered to end users more cost effectively, thus making personal broadband services profitable to service providers and widely available to business and consumer subscribers. We are going to launch a Base Station based on this technology by 2008, while ensuring flexibility, reliability and compelling economics.

Commlink is proud to be a member of the WiMAX Forum which was established to champion the widespread adoption of this standard, establish a brand for the technology and lay the groundwork for interoperability between products from different suppliers. We are also a member of IEEE networking group. We are fully committed to deliver a Base Station(BS) that will seamlessly integrate the key WiMAX technologies- including sub-channelization, power control, adaptive modulation, antenna diversity, space time coding and bandwidth optimization; to provide unprecedented spectral efficiency and NLOS range in a compact, powerful unit.

Commlink has engaged separate research, design and development groups who are devoted in their respective areas. They are working to provide a standard-based mean for offering new forms of voice, video and data services to end-users staying at home, in the office, outside or on the move. This base station will provide high speed data rate and greater coverage through which telecommunication services will be delivered to all classes of people throughout Bangladesh.
